parachutes...if they had just mentioned (anywhere really) that others had gotten parachutes as well.

Maybe have her see one falling for someone else.

Or have her find empty 'chutes around the area somewhere to suggest that the recipient had the item and left the chute behind.

Little shit like that would have made it awesomer.
