Pretty good week. The grandkids tend to hide away in the basement with the computers, but it was good to spend a few days with my daughter.

Weather in K.C. was unusually mild, which I wasn't expecting. Saturday morning the storm front went through in the early (4:30am) morning, and the power had gone out, so we hunkered down in the basement for a couple of hours. The tornadoes were actually further north - close to St. Louis - but we had local winds of around 70mph.

Nice dinner with Truman on Monday.

Fligh home was reasonably uncomplicated, although both flights were delayed. Seems like it was mechanical, rather than weather related, but I just can't seem to get through Dallas without delays. Except when I plan a 4-hour layover like the trip out.
