you'd think so with how much they are coveted by people who like mushrooms ... the thing is- they aren't cultivated - only grow wild - and to buy them

is like mega bucks per pound fresh - and dried just isn't as good as fresh - so it's a short season when you can eat them at their peak - and if you find a bunch - it's just incredibly decadent to have them in abudance for a dish or meal.
