May i just say how tired I am? (whine inside, you've been warned.)

So, it was a week ago yesterday Dave's dad passed away and we got the call waking us up to tell him.
Dave's mom has been staying with his brother and went home yesterday.
She has been wearing one of those personal alarm necklaces since March when dave's dad went into the home and she's been living alone.
*THIS* morning, 4am, our phone rings. It's the AlarmForce people. Her alarm was activated and she wasn't responding and they were sending an ambulance. She lives about 3 hours away and it's not like we can just run out and see. We call her house, we call the hospital there, we can't get any info. FINALLY *she* calls us. She fell asleep with it on, and rolled on to it in the night, and is *deaf* without her hearing aids. She's fine.
But we spent a horrible hour this morning and all i could think was of those couples who pass away within days of each other after being married for so long.
Anyway, never got back to sleep, and i already feel like it's been a long day.
