From this level, typically 3-4 years. For Bryce Harper, he'll get advanced within a week or two to the next level (or 2)

Machado probably in July to the next level.
There's major league > AAA > AA > High-A > Low-A (where both Harper and Machado are) > Rookie league.
standard players advance 1 level a year if they showw progression.
these guys could probably progress much much quicker (Harper especially).
