how do I determine what angle to cut the board on the ends to snugly fit?

Let's say the lower object is 2 inches below the upper one and the distance between is 12'8".

Responses:

12 feet? and a 2 in drop? The angle is miniscule ( about 0.75 degrees) -- nm - decline May 13, 08:59 2
