Also, Showtime's "Episodes" series was very scathing of network management, but it's nothing we haven't seen before.

It's the basic caricature of the executive who tells you he loves everything and then bad-mouths everything behind your back, abetted by a gaggle of yes-men lackies. He's always got "notes" and then wonders why it sucks at the end.
