The Outback, which was parked on the street, was hit by another car last night.

Probably still drivable, but the driver's side rear passenger door is caved in a bit. No note.
Ironically, I probably wouldn't have noticed it except that I was going to take it in for its safety inspection this morning.
Responses:
Who parks a chain restaurant on the street anyway?

You'd have us confine it to a strip mall?? That'd be the day. -- nm

It's our secondary car, and we don't drive it that much. It's 11 years old and has engine problems

and being so old I presume you don't have comprehensive coverage on it either...probably a drunk driver or some kids hot rodding -- nm
