Honestly, I liked the playlist for RB1 better, but the play is improved 100% on RB2.

If you have an xbox 360 or a PS3 you can buy RB2, then buy a used copy of just the disc for RB1 and migrate all the music into RB2. I mean, they both have their plusses, but overall the music was better (imo) in the first one. :)
Also, remember, you don't have to get all the dlc at once, pace yourself :)
