I still believe the Big-12 is on par with the SEC based on the data over the past few years, including ...

-- total offensive production against similar non-conference opponents;
-- defensive strength against similar non-conference opponents;
-- overall record of head-to-head matchups among teams in both conferences;
-- overall bowl game records;
-- rankings; and
-- a host of other factors.
