He let me get the hang of it in some practice area for about 15 minutes.

I'm fairly game-adept, so I had the hang of it. But then I said let's go do something and that's pretty much where he started blowing the shit out of me.
I have a hard time "looking." By the time I'd figure out where he was he was on me and melee-ing me to death with one hit.
oh well.
