Another offer came in higher and it went back and forth. We wound up over $50,000 over asking and frankly I think it might have gone even higher if we had let it, but we liked one of the couples a lot and decided to let it end in their favor. And now another person is coming over to write an offer even though we told them we had signed a contract. They want to make a back-up offer anyway. Just so unbelievable. My real estate agent wife did an unbelievable job getting the house in perfect shape to sell and pricing it right to get all the traffic. Now we have to find a place to move.
