You're missing the point still.

People aren't looking for excuses to quit. They aren't using the 'uncomfortableness' as an excuse to quit. They aren't blaming the other people at the gym for the reason they quit. But they are quitting. And your attitude *could* have an effect on that. Maybe. Possibly. For one or two or three people.

So you have a choice to make. Hinder them. Be neutral to them. Help them.
