really, I remember when banks wouldn't take unrolled coins in mass, line them up and see if any are short

what they would do is put your account number on each roll so if any turn out to be filled with slugs they knew who to blame,
but really, the labor to roll a bucket of coins vs taking a chance that one might be short a nickel?
