90% in my biz, the first one to talk live to them is usually the one to book the gig...sometimes they leave a message, but after you have left 2 or 3

you start to hang up as soon as you hear to VM message.
most of my clients have already left a couple messages with the judges on the official list and haven't yet got a call back.
or they've gone down the craigslist (however those kinds of clients are also the ones to book someone cheaper and leave you hanging.
