She asked for "Title" and I said Owner. She said that's not a title. I asked what she means by title, then. She said, "what is your relationship to the business?" I said, "Owner." At that point, it was like she was a viper who had venom that had to come out right then and there. When I realized she wanted me to say President, she got so pissy that I got the answer right. She was looking for any excuse to hang up and that bit of knowledge extended the conversation.

I was never asked if I could legally bind. I would imagine that would have led to a hostile conversation about what type of medieval costuming that entails. Seriously, I was taken aback by how quickly the tone of that conversation turned. I try so hard to be nice to people on the phone since I've had that job and I know it sucks. That chick was looking for a fight.
