I don't think that 100 million exists any more. Going day-and-date digital is a genius approach to will make it more marketable and accessible.

But without the base, they're screwed. The movies, TV shows/cartoons, video games is where the young people are going. Frankly, I think the writing on the wall says: comics, as a medium, doesn't have much time left.
At least, until now, we had the history of the characters. After September, we won't even have that.
