according to her, Casey, Caylee drown in the grandparent's pool. The Grandmother having left the ladder up so the girl crawled up and in.

She was found by the Grandfather and Casey.

The reason Casey didn't tell anyone and seemed unaffected...Dad molested Casey as a child so she was good at internalizing and appearing as though nothing was wrong. I think there was also something about the Grandfather starting on Caylee but I may be wrong about that.
