so my mom has this friend, mary, who was living with this guy, dick, for over 20 years.

they were common law, had property and small businesses together, the whole nine yards. no kids.

dick had an affair with mary's best friend maria like six years ago. mary found out, demanded he stop, and they worked through it.

last year, mary found out that they were back together. she threw dick out. everyone rallied around mary; all of her friends took turns sending cards, listening to her whine, listening to her lament about what a bitch maria was.

mary's house is on the mountain, so isolated. every now and again, she would claim dick had broken in and that she was too freaked to sleep at home. she moved between my mom's house, deb's house, and sue's house.

sue's husband is a contractor who often works with mary's business. mary knew him well. mary started sleeping with him almost immediately after dick moved out.

the husband recently told sue about himself and mary, so mary went public with it as well. everyone is outraged that mary would do this to another person. mary's response "she'll be fine."

how much do you hope mr. tennis cheats on mary?
