You want to do a lot of grinding in that area. I forget if that includes one (or all) of the PSICOM things or just Sanctum Templars. You should grind the Templars, though. The goal being to get the rare drops (those ending in ite).

Also, do you know about the potential bonuses for weapon and accessory combos? Like Instant Chain?

Also, it seems that these are the major roles to work on maxing out for characters: Hope, Sazh, and Lightning - Ravager; Snow and Fang - Commando (I would put Sentinel a close second); Vanille - Saboteur.

Vanille, Hope, and Sazh are probably the best Synergists. Vanille, Fang, and Snow are probably the best Saboteurs. Vanille and Hope are the best Medics.
