it had crossed the highway - then decided to run parallel to me as I was braking and I was almost stopped when it decided to veer into me

I felt awful - there wasn't any blood on my car - it left a little bit of fur only on the edge of the head lamp glass - and it sprinted off doing the deer leap thing into the woods - like nothing had happened. So - I emailed the photo of the damage to my brother and he asked me if I want some morels to go with my venison! sheesh
