Sprint is my favorite these days, even over armor lock.

I mentioned this in chat a few weeks ago. I'd been thinking about how Jimmy Johnson changed the game of football. When he showed up, steroids were all the rage and coaches wanted the biggest monsters they could find. Johnson believed that playing the game faster than the opponent was an imperative. He played the smallest front seven people had seen since the 1950s and it worked. Those less than agile giants would get beaten almost immediately at the snap.
I had a suspicion that the same was true on Halo, and I'm finding that to be the case. Through sprint, you can control the location of the battle, you can escape if it goes poorly, and you can get cheap kills by attacking unsuspecting victims before they can detect you on their radars. On Countdown and other levels where you can drop down from above then sprint attack, cheap kills are readily available.
The best part for me is that on games like Slayer Pro where you only have the base armor configuration, it's now the style of armor I utilize anyway. That's a singular advantage over people who armor lock all the time.
