and then SheFox dropping the kids at daycare knowing it'll be days before she sees them again, and feeling mortified that they are waiting for her at the hospital, and what if the surgeon has to rush, or she ruined things for other patients... i mean, she was a mess. When they came back in and told her what happened, she laughed *uproariously*. I mean, guffawing. And it was the first legit smile I saw on her face the entire day. So in a weird way I'm thankful it happened.
(I really did marry like the best woman of all time.)
