They took half her sternum and parts of two ribs, and re aligned all her pectoral muscles. last night was a lot of pain and discomfort but she is better managed now. Goals for today are starting some solid food, discontinuing oxygen, and moving from the bed to a chair.

We've got a lot of hospital time ahead.

But yes, jim is right that all this is vet much best case.
