Each batch has a different one drawn by the same person. She has bottlings and buy ins and it's just crazy. -- nm

when i transfered it, i left the yeast cake behind. i thought there would be enough in the beer to pick up the new sugars and keep going.

you can do some really cool 1 gallon batches of mead - no cooking, just bottle it and let it sit.

we lose maybe 1 out of every 7 batches to bacteria. It drives Tempe crazy. But we can't work sterile so it's hard to pinpoint the source. -- nm
