Honestly, I think if the hardware costs had come down that much, they would have cut the price in November.

If they couldn't afford to cut the price in October/November, they certainly won't be able to two months later. Especially since they won't see the same sales spike they would have during the holidays.

I think Sony's focus will be on greater profit, not market share. We'll see.
