TTIS: Why won't this Excel spreadsheet allow me to insert a hyperlink?

I've checked options, properties, and macros, and can't find anything that would turn off that option in the menu. (Insert >> Hyperlink.)

Responses:

i've found that pasting the address into a cell isn't enough sometimes and you have to F2 to edit it. When you hit enter, it becomes a link -- nm - zork Jan 6, 08:10 4
