That would mean a ton if they played in the same division. Since they don't and you know Oakland has had the better record 7 out of 12...

you've just pointed out that the Twins have been luckier than their luck has caused you to mistake them for being the more successful team.
With regards to your transparently false statement that Oakland was already good when Beane showed up, their records the prior five seasons had been .447, .465, .481, .401 (!), and .457. The team jumped 13 games his first season and have -never- had a season as bad as the one prior to his arrival.
You're factually wrong all over the place here.
