dave's son has his last name, his half brother doesn't. they live in the same house and of course are siblings.

even though they are half siblings, if you know what i mean.
it's not really uncommon, and people don't actually care that much.
in high school Steve McCormick and i had half of the town believing we were twins. i lived with mom and he lived with dad.
