A. When the Doctor knows who River is that means he's coming closer to the time where something bad happens.
It was his crib, it was also River/Melody crib. I don't think the Doctor saw the little piece of cloth that was made for Melody
The Doctor realized that he's been making out with Amy's kid all this time
