I've said for a while the most impressive thing about the Potter movies was that they survived Columbus.

And even back in the day the CGI on the quidditch players looked horrendous.

I don't mind Columbus at all. He did some great necessary work that set the stage for the other directors.

Hogwarts was redesigned after Columbus's films. But I'll grant him that visually, he was spot on.
