In response to "Just out of curiousity - because while I've seen enough evidence to believe this happened, we haven't seen it yet - any other Latinos on the club he.." by Name Withheld By Request

Yes and in fact a childhood friend of his, Brayan Pena, was already on the Braves when he arrived.

Pena fled Cuba first and they hadn't seen each other in several years. They had been like brothers as children. Escobar's attitude did sour after the Braves released Pena, who simply wasn't a good enough player to earn a spot on the 25 man roster. He pouted like a small child for quite a while about that.

The Braves over this time frame included Latino leaders such as Mike Gonzalez, Javier Vazquez, Jair Jurrjens and Omar Infante. Martin Prado regularly tried to dial Yunel down last year without success. They all tried to talk him through many flare-ups, but the issue was simply him. He behaved deplorably and he had to go.
