Can't decide if I want to be an Election Officer again...

I usually like volunteering, but dealing with people that can't follow directions drives me crazy (see that voting booklet you are holding? it tells you what district you are in and where you go to vote? go there. you can't vote here. etc.)
During the primary, it was super busy because the nominees hadn't been decided. During the local elections it was totally dead. A lot of people are now voting by mail, so supposedly the number of people going to the polls will be smaller. Who knows how hectic it'll be on Nov 4.
Pros: Help out, get paid like $5/hr for my trouble, see democracy in action
Con: Costs me a vacation day, other volunteers are all senior citizens, so if anything goes wrong with tech stuff, I'll have to do it, hiding my belief that there should be an intelligence test for voting (yes, pick the X for the candidate you want, not the candidate you don't want).
