He helps them, but they didn't exactly have a waste at 1b prior.

Giambi for lack of options was the 1b. He hit 32 hr, 96rbi, .875 OPS. His avg was low, but his slugging was .500 and his OBP was .375. Those are solid #'s.

Tex's slugging was .552, 33 hr, 121 rbi....he's better, but likely not by much than 2-3 wins a years with those #'s.
