Then a new one would have to come about. It theoretically could be years, but it won't continue to fall forever.

I believe we will feel the ramifications of this for years before we hit some stability. Almost like aftershocks. But I do think things will begin to turn around in the next 6-24 months (big range I know, but I can't peg it any better than that).
