I feel like I have to say here is that one of the funniest moments of my life thus far is telling someone about "pang"

person: "pang" is a real word.
me: it is not. shut up.
person: no, it's a word. it's not gay mexican. it's a word.
me: use it in a sentence.
person: "I was having hunger pangs..."
me: *speechless.*
the relationship between noun and verb was just unfathomable to me. *pang* is a word. what??
