From what I'm reading they may not be ruined. They may be more dense, not rise properly and take longer to cook.

They also may not taste as good as they should but might be okay. Some articles I came across where people made the same mistake said their cake/muffins came out okay but not as tasty as they should be.
I'd scrap them and start over.
