I've had some odd callers at work but the guy today who started shouting "My brain cells! My brain cells!" was one of the oddest.

Apparently the guy didn't like me *helping* him avoid penalties for making late payments. He also didn't like it when after telling me he was 1600 miles away from his business, I told him he could make a payment from any location. He said, but I don't know how much the payment should be. I said, can you call whoever's doing the payroll? He said, I do the payroll. Uh, really? Then more "my brain cells!" and "just stop!". I had to tell him to stop shouting or I'd disconnect the call. He didn't. I did.

I hate hanging up on callers but I'm not a punching bag for them. I'm so looking forward to furlough this year. Too many angry people out there these days.
