ok, I am thinking it must be what mara said. Did you ever start using Buzz when it came out?

I did, then stopped. but I already had followers.
Honestly, I think it looks liek they are trying to bury the Buzz thing and use circles instead.

I'm almost positive the term "followers," in Google products, is from Buzz, not originated in G+. I haven't figured out how they're trying to connect
