I don't recommend the Radisson. I stayed there 5 years ago right before I moved here. There was *no* a/c in the hallway. We caught a maintenance guy going thru drawers when we came back and surprised him. They gave us a voucher for the restaurant. I don't recommend the restaurant for the food - it was boring, over-priced, and not tasty. The view is great if you want to go up for drinks. The plus for the Radisson is it's close to lots of other food options, both fast and sit-down, including MainStrasse, Covington's "entertainment" district.
The Marriott is very nice. A friend of mine from Boston stays there when he comes into town on business. It's very convenient to downtown. You could even walk it. (It's next to the bridge I referenced over the weekend.) I work 2 blocks up from it. Food options for dinner are limited to the hotel. But it's not far from MainStrasse, maybe a half mile. The Northern KY Convention Center is right across the street, if you have an event there.
There's a trolley shuttle bus that runs from Covington into downtown Cincy you can catch from either hotel. You can also take the shuttle to MainStrasse from the Marriott. The bus terminal is just up the block.
The Westin is downtown. There are lots of restaurant options within a few block radius (mostly to the east). I don't think I'd walk around at night alone in the other direction or north. It's within walking distance of the Duke Center, if you have an event there. It's a few blocks from the Hamilton County Library, if you're going there.
If you're driving down, only the Radisson has free parking but lots are fairly cheap (compared to Boston, anyway).
Let me know if I can provide any other info.
