dave's sister has been given 2 months to live (although, i think that's wrong, i really do.) his brother with downs is failing and has heart problems and it's getting fairly serious. if anything happens to his brother and sister, i wouldn't expect his mother to last much longer and his father died in May.

it's entirely possible that he will lose 2 siblings and both parents in a calendar year.

plus, there's other crap (totally out of my, or anyone's really, control) that is sort of being thrown my (our) way.

it's all pretty draining.
