Ok, so I've mentioned that I have the house to myself this week, yes? Carrie and the boys are at Scout Summer Camp. (kids are dumb inside)

Carrie is on medical this week, so not only is she in charge of distributing meds (25 of 44 boys have some)...but she also deals with boo boos, upset stomachs, fevers, dehydration and of course, homesickness.

They actually went to the trouble of having a pharmacist print up an authentic pharmacy label for Homesickness pills. They put it on a prescription bottle and filled it with some sort of wafer candy (they look like big Tums).

The boys come to medical wanting to call home or whatever...Carrie gives them a homesick pill and tells them it takes 20 minutes or so to feel the effect...and before that 20 minutes is up, 99% of the time, the boy has "ooooh shiny'd" his way to something else.

Kids are dumb. :)
