You could Hulu+ and Redbox 8 movies/month.

I agree that it's still a good deal, if you watch a ton of movies. For me, the DVD rental is no longer a good deal, even on the 2/month plan.
I'm confident there will be lots of competition in this arena. Unfortunately, at the moment, it's a disjointed market, in terms of different content available in different places.
