it might have come across better if they'd waited until their next earnings report to make the changes. they said part of the increase is because of

increased costs to them, and that they'll explain better when they report in a couple of weeks.
if it's another oil-company-type hike, where the increase amounts to more profits for them, that's not a loyalty-keeper.
I'm all for profit for well-run companies that provide good products/services, but it's not unlimited - they have to be able to take knocks if they present as greedy.
I have not netflixed yet, but googling and st has told me over the years that there are improvements to be made. from how things are sorted to how they meet demand, there could well be improvements.
