I don't actually think the "resurrection stone" was what was responsible for Harry coming back. It doesn't actually bring people back to life, it just shows them to you and you can talk to them. I haven't read the book in quite a while, so I'm just going off the movie here, but I'd think Harry's survival has more to do with the Elder wand belonging to him and thus refusing to kill him.
