Oh she doesnt work for me. :) My staff know better. But what I am saying is that

with a large national company there are too many people, to much HR and to many varried values and cultures to ever have a nonfactor concensus that amanda is talking about.

Culture is formed from the top down and that is driven by the leadership and I think that if you dont like the culture you job is to find another job, not try to be counter-culture in an environment where its not appropriate
