most of the recipes i found (granted i didn't look at many) at least had onions. is that not the norm?

i think i've made one other in my life, a couple years ago. i just remember a bunch of bacon on top and it was greasy as hell. but the guys gobbled it up (and the damn thing stuck together. i don't remember if i put any veggies in it or not)
