Trish, I had an amazing vegan pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving last year

A friend made it. Agave nectar was involved. It was amazing.

I'm being very cautious which cookbooks I request and which recipes I consider, because there is definitely a bunch of crap out there, based on the reviews of many of the books and recipes. The issue may be that a lot of vegan recipes are regular recipes with dairy / meat substitutes, but no thought beyond that.
