I still can't see in Facebook settings where I can go offline.

Under the Settings tab I have options for:
Name
Username
Email
Password
Linked Accounts
Privacy
Account Security
Download
Deactivate

You have to click the little gear on the Chat box. You'll see a couple things...Available to Chat is one of them. - Jim Jul 19, 09:42
there is a settings button on the char bar. It's in there (not in the regular settings) -- nm - decline Jul 19, 09:40 1
