I was helping out a couple friends of mine. They have two daughters, ages 5.5 and 2, and they were at the children's hospital here all day with the older daughter. She has cerebral palsey, and they brought her in for checkups, studies, motor workshops, etc. Both of them had to participate, and it's really tough to do with the 2-year-old in tow, too, so I went up to the hospital and sat with the younger kid for 6 hours. It was actually fun, but ye gods, so tiring.
